Each of our nannies must match our preferred childcare provider qualifications such as, CPR, First Aid, and background screenings which are renewed on a yearly basis. All nannies have a minimum of 3 years professional childcare experience to ensure they are well suited and prepared for all situations and parenting preferences. We hold safety and security in high regard by only employing nannies that have passed a 7 year background check in addition to being Trustline certified (an authorized fingerprint screening program of in-home employees in California). We take pride in our nannies so that you can sit back and truly relax on your next trip, event, or date night!

Babysitting and Nannies:

The purpose of our temporary care department is for those families that are traveling or needing short-term care. Vacations should be fun for the entire family which is why we arrange reliable childcare for those activities not suited for kids. Temp care is also a great resource when your regular care provider is unavailable or if you are looking for a worry-free date night! 

Backup Care:

We partner with Bright Horizons, Care@Work, Lifecare and Corporate Care Solutions to offer employee-sponsored child care services to clients that have a child care benefit through their employer. Our backup care department is open 7 days a week in order to fulfill your last-minute childcare requests. We work closely and diligently with our provider partners to ensure your needs are met and expectations exceeded. 

Event Childcare: 

Looking for childcare for your wedding or corporate event? While you’re enjoying the event rest assured the kids are enjoying themselves as well. We provide a team of nannies that will help the kids throw their own party, including crafts, games, and more! We can provide care on-site at the venue or at a separate location if you prefer. 

Membership: 

This program was created for clients needing regular care whether that be with a Nanny, Newborn Care Specialist or Doula. Our Nannies will cover your overall childcare needs by helping maintain the daily routine and ensuring the kiddos are safe and engaged. If you find that your needs are more specific to newborn and infant care, then exploring options with our certified NCS/Doula professionals is highly recommended. Membership is an excellent option for those who do not wish to take on the challenge of hiring a household employee. Joanna’s Nannies will handle the costs associated with hiring and retaining a household employee, including payroll taxes, processing fees, workers comp and liability insurance. In order to assist our membership clients best, our scheduling coordinator will guide you through the process and help manage your weekly schedule, hour tracking, nanny performance management, and help you determine the level of support your family desires.
